Which Ruffle Specs Should Be Controlled?

How Should Ruffle Patterns Be Graded?

The main garment grade rule should not be copied automatically onto every ruffle piece. A balanced grade keeps ruffle fullness, width, placement and layer rhythm consistent across sizes while respecting fit and body proportion.

Grade From the Attachment Seam

The attachment seam is usually the best starting point for ruffle length. If the seam grows with size, the ruffle length usually needs to grow with it. This helps keep the gathering density consistent.
