Program Scope
An anonymous US occasionwear brand planned an 18-style fitted evening capsule totaling approximately 36,000 pieces. The assortment combined satin Mermaid dresses, stretch-crepe Mermaid dresses, mesh-panel versions and corset-led statement styles across several commercial colors. The brand required a recognizable fitted-to-flare identity across the line while allowing each fabric and neckline to perform differently. Development input included tech packs, reference images, brand size charts and launch timing. Development Challenges
The first sample round exposed three recurring issues: the hip contour looked too tight on several woven styles, the flare break sat too low on two non-stretch dresses and a mesh/corset version showed unstable upper-bust fit after movement.
