Question: General Printing Information
Answer:
Accepted File Types:
- Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
- Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
- Vector (.EPS)
Print Size:
- Your designs should be adjusted to the correct size of the print required.
- If you want the print to be 30 x 30 cm, please make sure the dimensions in the file are adjusted to 30 x 30 cm.
- Please also indicate the dimensions of your required print size.
Outlining Your Text:
- If you are creating your files in Adobe Illustrator, please outline your text or provide us with the font files.
Colour Format:
- Please send your files in CMYK or RGB colour format.
Colour Matching:
- We will assist with Pantone colour matching with your print files to the inks used for printing on fabric, but we can’t guarantee the exact match will always be achieved.
- The colours of the artwork can differ from what is viewed on a computer screen or printed paper to what is printed on the fabric. This is due to different colour calibrations for every monitor and there is no universal colour calibration for computers.
- It will also be beneficial if you can provide PANTONE coated colours for your print colours.
Print / Instructions:
- If you have specific requirements on how you want the placement, scale/size, repeated patterns, all-over prints, and the direction of print artwork, please confirm these details in advance of sampling so that we can get the actual sample made to your instructions.
Repeat / Seamless Patterns:
- If you have specific instructions on how you want the placement, scale/size, repeated patterns, all-over prints, and the direction of print artwork, please confirm these details in advance of sampling so that we can get the actual sample made to your instructions.
By following these guidelines, we can ensure that your prints meet your expectations and maintain the highest quality standards.
