A realistic delivery plan begins with the required warehouse date and works backward through freight, packing, inspection, production and approval. Production cannot be scheduled responsibly from a launch date alone without route, destination and product details.

Start With the Required Delivery Date

The first timing reference should be the date goods must be available at the warehouse, 3PL or retail distribution point.

A campaign shoot, site launch or store drop may occur later, but the inventory must arrive early enough for receiving, counting, quality spot-checks, system intake and allocation.
