A complete brief allows the team to identify risk before sampling and prepare a clearer development and quotation route. For a multi-style program, include the following information so styles can be grouped and prioritized correctly:
- Company name, website and target market
- Line sheet or list of styles with style numbers
- Tech packs, reference images or original samples
- Quantity per style/color and intended size range
- Preferred fabrics, colors, trims and target price level
- Photo sample, fit sample and PP sample requirements
- Woven labels, care labels, hangtags, barcodes and packing files
- Campaign date, launch date, warehouse date and shipment preference
